some of the first pictures i ever did were fanart, before i even realized what "fanart" was, or meant. to me it was just drawing pictures of stuff that was already there; i'd work from memory or guides to recreate disney characters in my earliest sketchbooks. shortly thereafter i began designing my own characters. only a few fanart pieces were produced in jr. high, but with the joint discoveries of anime (sailor moon) and comics (x-men), my sketchbooks teemed with fanart. this archive is a small sampling of my sketchbook work. i also have a handful of chibis up for adoption at cfan's adoption agency, if one is so inclined to have a look. hm. lookit that. the rest of the page is filled with blank space. i should fix that soon.... |
