random story moment: i remember doing most of these at the kitchen table summer '96. i'd go to the net and print out a pic, and then i'd work from it, often late at night. most of the pics i worked from are now lost; technically i don't consider this "copying" as real fanart, but i'm including these pix anyway, b/c i liked doing them, and i'm generally pleased with the end results.
