... and that's charaDes, short for character design. this is my passion. this is what i love to do. there are people inside my head just waiting to emerge. sometimes there are entire stories, characters whose lives are rich with memories and timelines; other times it is a mere visual intepretation or a costume idea. i am fascinated by the way outer appearance tells the entire story of a persona; by the psychology of matching exterior with interior. i am fascinated also with culture and society, thus, cazeireans and dakesia are two sister cultures that i have created to exist in my own sci-fi world. fashion and media play twin roles to get under the skin modern society; i explore this in the designs for 2413, a comic/anime project i am constantly working on. the worlds of fantasy also intrigue me; to play there i have created rp personas, masks i can slip on to enter a daydream. please feel free to peruse this gallery, but the images, as my own original creations, are locked. for more information please read the faq. thanks! ^_^ |
