Sometime in 1993 or 1994, I was pretty obsessed with seaQuest DSV, and decided to write about it ... I was unaware that other people also wrote seaQuest stories, and I had no idea that the term "fanfic" even existed. Simply put, I was just writing about seaQuest, and that was that. When I found that other people did write about seaQuest, I posted the story on Prodigy's message boards, never really realizing what I was getting myself into. Several fandoms and even more stories later, I would say that I've definitely improved as a writer, and am very glad that fanfic has given me the opportunities that it has. At any rate, these are my first forays into the world of fanfic. Moana Keiki: Ocean's Child (First Season) :: While on shore leave, the seaQuest finds the remains of a destroyed cryonics lab, and attempts to revive one of the patients. Moana Keiki: Ocean's Child (Second Season) :: Pretty much the same as the above, except with second season characters, better writing, and a little more thought. Fish Out of Water (First Season) :: Um ... you have been warned. Fish Out of Water (Second Season) :: Abalon, the scientist from the first season who tried to make "mermaids", is back a year later -- with his sights now set on two crew members. |
