caffeine pretty
Sarah loves Chichiri. She'll remind you of this fact several times over if you let her. I think it's her default saying, much the way mine tends towards, "It's all about Fushigi Yuugi." And of course, it's her fault I even say that in the first place.

The first thing you'll notice about Sarah is that she's very, very quiet. So quiet, in fact, that I don't think we even saw her ... for a long time. However, it was the effervescent, boisterous, talkative Yisel who first approached her, somehow, someway, somewhere, the specifics of which are unknown to me ... and apparently lost to the ages. But it doesn't matter, because soon enough she'd become a permanent (if silent) fixture in the group. She'd take her spot on the floor in Yis's room, she'd come to anime club (because we are all crazy anime people, you know).... but something about her still seemed so distant. (Of course, she started to actually talk to the rest of us when we brought up the bishounen ... go figure! ^_^)

It wasn't until the end of the school year that the distance started to close. Sarah brought Fushigi Yuugi over during finals week; over the course of that week I watched all 52 episodes + OVA, and she dealt with my constant barrage of, "I hate you!" meaning "Thank you for sharing with me this splendifferous wonderful series which I love oh so very much and now I am addicted!" And it was the last day of school that she, Alex, and I all stayed up talking 'til the sun rose. I have found that she is slow to know; however, I do know there is more in her yet that I have not seen, more of this wonderfully deep emotional creature that I can only hope to know as the next few years pass. She listens ... listens without imposing advice, and when I do request advice it is often her simple words that alleviate the stress, pain, confusion, or worry that I feel.
