Not only is the series wonderful (I haven't yet met a person who didn't like it)... but Kenshin himself is an awesome character. He's noble, and true, and honest, and honorable, and chivalrous, and funny, and kind, and ... well, just generally-speaking, an all-around great guy. And yet ... even he has his flaws. Take his past, for example. This noble rurouni was once the Hitokiri Battousai, the most feared assassin in Kyoto ... and all of Japan.
If there's anything I truly admire in Kenshin, it's his hard-fast honor code. He doesn't kill. He helps whenever and wherever and however he can. He's always making the world a better place. And that is why Kenshin rocks. ^_^
